As the first light of dawn kissed the ancient Ruwanwelisaya Stupa in Anuradhapura, I captured this rare moment through the tangled dry branches by the lake, a natural frame that no longer exists.Those trees have now been cut down, making this image one of the final memories of a vanished view.

It’s more than just a photograph it’s a piece of history, a silent sunrise, and a farewell to a timeless scene.
